Matthew Wells

Matthew Wells first started Weightlifting at the Haven gym, Grimsby Town in1995 and competed is his first Weightlifting event in the summer of 1996.

Since then he has been a member of IAWA UK (International All-round Weightlifting Association) and has competed in all types of Weightlifting events throughout the UK, including Strongman.

When he moved to Cumbria in 2003 he had a 10 year break in his training, whilst he was a student of the arts, but he now trains at a local CrossFit gym.
