IWRP – International Weightlifting Results Project

The International Weightlifting Results Project (IWRP) is a very large database of competitions and individual performances from all over the world.

We've been speaking with Slawo (Slawomir Judek) the founder and creator of IWRP to get the low down.

IWRP started back in March 2011, but the idea was formed in 2004. Slawo was busy in the early days collating Excel spreadsheets and PDFs before creating an interactive and user friendly website.

The online collection now has 38,365 names and counting. In it's archives (historic names) it has approximately 5,500.

I bet you're wondering if your name is on there? Well, if you have competed in an International Weightlifting Federation (IWF) competition, excluding masters, you can find your self! That includes the British Championships and some English Championships. Try it out and search their database here.

Slawo puts in a huge amount of work but the results (if you'll pardon the pun) are there for all to see.

"Yes it is huge effort! – but I love it" - Slawomir Judek

It's a fantastic, FREE service that we invite you all to try it out and spread the word! Many thanks for this service Slawo!
